Located in Vermont's beautiful Northeast Kingdom, our rustic but refined log cabin is built on a hillside, featuring inviting cedar deck which overlooks the Lamoille River, woods & distant mountains. Our 4-season cabin is equipped with everything you'll need for a peaceful, care-free getaway. Escape the hustle & bustle, clear your mind & enjoy all that this area has to offer.
The Cabin & Our Story
Circe & Hare Lodge began as an absolute labor of love for Leslie and Matt. Leslie is an organic gardener (and property manager) by trade, and Matt is a woodworker & musical-instrument maker. We both have a keen eye for detail, and a love of art, architecture & design. We spent a year renovating & decorating the cabin, before offering it up to guests. We are so happy to be able to provide this experience for those who want to come & explore the splendors of the Northeast Kingdom.

Despite the isolation, the lodge is a short drive from some of the best attractions Vermont has to offer. The beds were incredibly cozy with plenty of comforters & throws to wrap up in.
